Network Hospital Graphic Designer

This position is located in one of our hospital countries. You must currently live in - Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Niger, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Philippines.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Network Hospital Graphic Designer works hybrid, splitting time remotely and at one of the eight CURE International Hospitals. The Network Hospital Graphic Designer is a member of a country-specific CURE hospital team, but has a direct line (operational) reporting relationship with the Global Content Manager and a dotted line (functional) reporting relationship with the MSC Lead Designer. 

The Network Hospital Graphic Designer plays a primary role in the process of creating print and digital collateral that meet the creative needs and objectives of the eight CURE International hospitals.  This position requires interdepartmental coordination across CURE to ensure that all visual designs communicate desired messages and function successfully for a variety of audiences in order to support the goals of the organization.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  1. Create and design collateral material, including but not limited to hospital annual reports, printed mailings, brochures, posters, etc., that support CURE’s branding and messaging and reflect appropriate design for the target audience(s).
  2. Assist in the creative process by helping establish a creative plan for projects.
  3. Participate in brainstorming innovative approaches for design.
  4. Manage relationships and print processes with external vendors.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in graphic design.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience in a related field.
Human Resources Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY

This role requires strong organizational skills, discretion in handling sensitive information, and a commitment to upholding our values of fairness, dignity, and child protection. The HR Assistant will work closely with the HR Manager in promoting a culture of transparency, inclusion, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support

  • Maintain and update coworker records (digital and physical)
  • Prepare HR documents such as contracts, letters, and forms
  • Assist in organizing staff files in compliance with internal SOPs

Recruitment & Onboarding

    • Coordinate job postings and application tracking
    • Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates
    • Support onboarding processes, including orientation and documentation

Compliance & Recordkeeping

  • Track leave, attendance, and probation periods
  • Ensure accurate documentation for NAPSA, NHIMA, and other statutory requirements
  • Assist in preparing reports for audits or internal reviews

 Coworker Relations & Support

  • Respond to routine HR queries with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Support implementation of workplace policies and procedures
  • Help facilitate trainings or awareness sessions (e.g., child protection, anti-fraud)

     Communication & Coordination

  • Draft internal memos, meeting invites, and HR-related announcements
  • Liaise with departments to ensure smooth HR operations
  • Assist in organizing HR meetings and maintaining minutes

Administrative Duties

  • Manage documentation and medico-legal correspondence
  • Adhere to hospital policies and HPCZ ethical guidelines
  • Participate in audits, clinical meetings, and continuous professional development

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate
  • Diploma in Human Resources Management, or related Business field. Degree added advamtage
  • Minimum 1- 3 years practical experience
  • Registered member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resources Management.

Registered Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Critical Care Nurse to lead and deliver high-quality, individualized patient care in our High Dependency Unit (HDU). The role involves close collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery through safe, cost-effective physical, psychological, and spiritual support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure continuity of care through effective handovers and accurate documentation
  • Conduct patient assessments and deliver individualized care in line with facility protocols
  • Educate patients and families on medical conditions and treatment plans
  • Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order
  • Uphold confidentiality and provide care that respects patient dignity, diversity, and autonomy
  • Foster warm, cooperative relationships with patients, guardians, and colleagues
  • Support spiritual care and participate in daily staff devotions
  • Engage in continuous professional development and knowledge-sharing
  • Promote quality assurance and contribute to departmental goal-setting and standards.
  • Ensure infection control through proper decontamination, disinfection, and hygiene standards.
  • Communicate effectively with medical teams and coordinate patient transfers to ICU when necessary
  • Collect blood samples and prepare patients for surgery with complete documentation
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans using the nursing process
  • Administer medications and control drug use in compliance with HPCZ and ZAMRA regulations.
  • Operate and maintain critical care equipment in collaboration with the biomedical team.
  • Monitor patient condition through regular assessments and vital sign tracking, responding to emergencies with CPR and other life-saving interventions.
  • Deliver complex treatments including IV therapy, ventilator management, and wound care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system and ensure timely reporting for decision-making.
  • Supervise nursing care procedures and support performance management through work plan development
  • Participate in doctors’ reviews and ensure medical orders are executed
Network Ministry Programs Coordinator

This is a remote position in one of our hospital countries - Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Niger, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Philippines.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

 

CURE International is seeking a mission-driven leader to serve as the Network Ministry

Programs Coordinator. This role will strengthen trauma-informed, Christ-centered care by

equipping and mentoring hospital-based teams, standardizing children’s ministry activities, and

ensuring the effective rollout of Hope Houses and counseling programs across the network.

 

Working closely with the Chief Ministry Officer and hospital Spiritual Ministry Directors, the

Coordinator will align practices, build capacity, and create sustainable models of ministry that

transform the patient and family experience.

 

Focus areas include:

  • Children’s Ministry Activities – playrooms, joyful spaces, and discipleship programming (Jesus and Me, OneHope)
  • Counseling Programs – biblical counseling, trauma-informed care, and psychosocial support
  • Hope House Program – long-stay family discipleship, life skills, and restorative care
  • Administration & Coordination – reporting, standardization, and strategic support


 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 
  1. Children’s Ministry Activities
  • Strengthen and standardize playroom ministries across hospitals, ensuring they are consistently used as part of the patient and family experience.
  • Support development of joyful, child-friendly spaces (playrooms, playgrounds, gardens) that promote healing and inclusion of children with disabilities.
  • Ensure consistent use of children’s ministry discipleship materials, including Jesus and Me and OneHope, across all hospitals — whether in playrooms, wards, or other settings.
  • Mentor and equip Children’s Mentors to deliver structured, Christ-centered discipleship and activity programming.
  • Collaborate with hospital teams to integrate children’s ministry activities with broader patient and family care goals.
 
  1. Counseling Programs
  • Lead the development and rollout of biblical counseling services across the network.
  • Develop and implement standardized patient counseling assessment tools to strengthen psychosocial ministry initiatives.
  • Train and mentor hospital counseling teams in trauma-informed care, psychosocial support, and art therapy.
  • Facilitate monthly network-wide calls with counseling staff to review practices, share learnings, and strengthen delivery.
  • Provide strategic guidance to Spiritual Ministry Directors on counseling, psychosocial, and art therapy programs.
  • Ensure counseling is integrated into both the clinical journey (e.g., pre- and post-surgery) and the spiritual journey of patients and families.
 
  1. Hope House Program
  • Oversee design and implementation of Hope Houses as restorative environments for families of children receiving long-term care.
  • Ensure Hope Houses provide holistic programming that includes:
    • Discipleship – Bible studies, prayer, and fellowship
    • Counseling – individual and family support
    • Education – literacy, tutoring, school readiness
    • Life Skills Training – practical skills to strengthen families after discharge
    • Recreation – family-centered play and community activities
  • Equip and mentor Hope House staff to deliver consistent, high-quality programming.
  • Monitor program effectiveness, gather family feedback, and recommend improvements.
  • Provide the Chief Ministry Officer with regular updates on progress and needs.
 
  1. Administration & Coordination
  • Compile and synthesize monthly, quarterly, and annual reports from hospital ministry teams.
  • Develop and maintain a standardized library of ministry resources (curricula, tools, policies, and guides).
  • Support a network-wide resource inventory and distribution system for children’s ministry and counseling.
  • Provide the Chief Ministry Officer with strategic insights on strengthening psychosocial and counseling ministries.
  • Participate in Spiritual Ministry Director meetings and network-wide forums for planning, evaluation, and training.
  • Track network meeting minutes, action points, and follow up with participants to ensure their completion.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Ministry Officer.
 

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

 
  • ≥85% of hospitals implementing standardized counseling assessment tools by FY26.
  • ≥85% of hospitals consistently running structured playroom ministry activities.
  • ≥85% of hospitals consistently using Jesus and Me and OneHope materials with children in playrooms and wards.
  • ≥75% of long-stay families engaged in Hope House programming where facilities exist.
  • ≥85% of surveyed families report increased emotional, spiritual, and social support during long-term stays.
  • Monthly mentoring and review calls with hospital counseling teams consistently conducted and documented.
  • ≥85% of monthly and quarterly ministry reports from hospitals are submitted on time.
  • ≥85% of action points identified in Spiritual Ministry Director and network-wide meetings are completed by the agreed-upon deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Christian Counseling, Psychology, or related field (required).
  • Theological or Christian ministry training (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years experience leading children’s ministry programs, ideally with therapeutic/social skills activities (experience with children with disabilities preferred).
  • Experience training, coaching, and supervising staff in international Christian organizations (desired).
  • Prior experience in patient counseling or psychosocial support (preferred).
 

Skills & Abilities

  • Fluency in English (required); bilingualism preferred.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and culturally appropriate counseling practices.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to design psychosocial curriculum, train others, and manage group dynamics.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking skills.
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and safeguard patient information.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to inspire, guide, and motivate others.

Spiritual Qualifications

  • Born-again Christian with a call to Christian ministry.
  • Demonstrated spiritual maturity through a personal walk with Christ and evidence of the fruit of the Spirit.
